Creamy Garlic Prawns & Green Veg Mash







You Need: (Serves 4)

  • 1 pack Garlic Prawns
  • 3-4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons white wine/ brandy
  • 185ml tin evaporated milk
  • 1 cup green beans, frozen, sliced, lightly cooked in boiling water
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, frozen, lightly cooked in boiling water
  • 700g buttery, mashed potato


  1. Add chopped green vegetables to mash potato with salt and pepper and mix to combine
  2. Add a dash of milk to mash if too dry
  3. heat oil in a large fry pan, med-low heat
  4. Gently fryprawns in a single layer 1-2 minutes each side until just turned pink
  5. Add wine/brandy and allow to bubble up approximately 30 seconds
  6. Add evaporated milk and simmer 1 minute, stirring
  7. Serve creamy garlic prawns with green mash

Suggestions: Make Surf and Turf for 6 by topping cooked fillet steaks with creamy garlic prawns. Serve with mixed leaf saland and jacket potatoes
