Prawns: Honey Glazed

You Need: (Serves 4)

  • 1kg green king prawns, shelled, deveined with tail left on
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame



Coat prawns in flour and lemon pepper. Heat oil in frying pan and add prawns, saute until prawns turn pink. Remove to a warmed platter.

Drain oil from pan and, while still hot, add honey, lemon juice and ground ginger. Heat, stirring, until honey is melted and ingredients blended. Pour over prawns. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
